Catherine Pilibos, DC, graduated magna cum laude from Life Chiropractic College West, and is a certified provider in Active Release Techniques. Before deciding to become a chiropractor, Catherine practiced law with her sister at their boutique estate planning firm in Menlo Park, California. “Our clients were the best part of practicing law,” Catherine recalls. “I realized that helping people was the fun part, and chiropractic allows me to accomplish that in a literally hands-on way. The human touch is so important, and you just don’t get that kind of care in traditional medicine.”

The ability to teach patients about health and wellness is a skill that has its roots in Catherine’s past. She tutored in English and taught swimming in college, and was part of a chiropractic mission trip to Peru, which included lectures in chiropractic health care, nutrition, and home exercise. A first degree black belt in White Tiger Bok Fu (a mixed martial art), Catherine was a senior instructor at her dojo for seven years, teaching adults and children. Now, as a doctor of chiropractic, Catherine considers teaching her patients about their bodies and how to achieve optimum health and function an integral part of chiropractic care.
